About 45% of adults snore OCCASIONALLY and 25% have snoring as a habitual thing. Snoring is linked to OSA and can lead to high blood pressure, place mental health at risk, and numerous of other health condition. Get tested, talk to your PCP about a sleep study.

Is your spouse having trouble adjusting to CPAP therapy? One of the best ways that you can help support them is simply to stand by them, well, lay next to them. A study showed that spouses that continued to sleep in the same bed were 60% more likely to continue the use of their CPAP than if they started sleeping alone.

Having trouble with managing your Cystic Fibrosis? Recent studies show that exercise, mainly running and cycling, have shown to improve lung function and decrease the amount of infections. Having trouble managing your epilepsy? Your sleep could be part of the problem. A study done in 2006 showed that patients who received CPAP had 50% or greater reduction in seizure frequency. Consult with your PCP and your Neurologist.

The old expression of grinding your teeth because you are angry isn’t that far off. If you suffer from Bruxism (Teeth Grinding) can be caused by stress, sleep apnea, and yes pent up anger. One way to help improve your sleep and minimize the damage done to your teeth is to exercise regularly to release stress and anger. Even meditation has shown some improvement for people.
